The right expertise for your asset
From an investment property to a commercial portfolio.
We scope each instruction to the asset, the valuation date and the evidence required. Desktop and onsite options are available where suitable.
Residential property
Houses, apartments, townhouses and residential investments. A desktop assessment may suit a straightforward property with sufficient information and comparable evidence. We’ll advise if an inspection is needed.
Commercial property
Offices, retail, industrial property, development sites and specialised assets. We consider the property’s use, leases, income, planning controls and market evidence, with the fee and inspection requirements quoted individually.
Businesses and ownership interests
Businesses, shares and units, assessed by our business valuation team. We tailor the scope to the ownership interest, financial information and tax purpose, and provide a separate fee proposal.
Clear pricing · No deposit to book

We review your details before confirming the assessment method and final fee.
Residential desktop assessment
From $189
For suitable straightforward residential properties, assessed using available property information and market evidence without an onsite inspection.
Residential onsite valuation
From $440
For suitable straightforward residential properties where an inspection is required or preferred. Location, property type and scope affect the final fee.
Commercial & other assets
Tailored quote
Commercial assets, portfolios and business interests are quoted individually. Desktop and onsite fees vary with the asset and scope.
All prices include GST. Starting prices of $189 and $440 do not apply to all properties. Price varies by property type, service type, location and complexity. We confirm your scope, total fee and payment terms in writing before you accept. No deposit is required to reserve any CGT valuation booking.

Planning for the valuation date
Book ahead. Establish value at the relevant date.
Where the 1 July 2027 transition requires a market valuation, the relevant point is immediately before 1 July 2027 (being 30 June 2027).
A reservation now is for work to establish value at that date, not a prediction of future value. The report can be prepared on or after the valuation date.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. No deposit is required to reserve a CGT valuation booking, including residential, commercial and business valuations. Send us your details first; we’ll issue a quote and confirm your booking once you accept it. Your quote will set out the payment terms.
Can commercial property be assessed by desktop?
Some commercial properties may be suitable for a desktop assessment, depending on the asset, purpose and information available. We’ll assess suitability and provide a tailored fee. An onsite inspection may be required where the available evidence is insufficient.
What information should I send?
Start with your contact details, the property address or business name, asset type and the required valuation date. For a business, we’ll explain the financial and ownership information needed after reviewing your enquiry.
Do you value multiple properties or business interests?
Yes. Send us the list of assets and the interests to be valued. We can coordinate a portfolio or combined property and business instruction and provide a tailored fee proposal.
What if I need a CGT valuation for another date?
We also provide current and retrospective CGT valuations. Tell us the date identified by your accountant or tax adviser and we’ll confirm the scope, evidence required and fee. No deposit is required to reserve your CGT valuation booking.
