Business valuations.

Andrew advises on business interests for partnership disputes, financial loss for compulsory acquisition, litigation, M&A, taxation and other valuation purposes. His work combines business valuation with detailed financial analysis, valuation modelling and scenario testing.

Before joining Sovereign Valuations, he served as Managing Valuer – Just Terms at Valuer General NSW, leading complex business valuation assignments, overseeing valuation teams and external consultants, and presenting assessments to government executives and legal representatives.

02 / Background

Finance & investment.

Andrew began his career in audit at KPMG, before moving into property investment analysis with Lend Lease’s General Property Trust (GPT) and ABN AMRO.

At UBS Global Asset Management, he was Executive Director and Head of Global Real Estate Securities (Australia), leading investment strategy, portfolio construction and research across domestic and international property securities. During his tenure, funds under management grew from approximately A$200 million to more than A$2 billion.

He later served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer at NASFUND PNG, overseeing a portfolio exceeding A$1.25 billion across property, equities, private equity and fixed income. He brings this financial and investment background to valuation modelling, scenario analysis and the assessment of business earnings and risk.
