Chris Shepherd
Chris has worked in property since 2006 across valuation, asset management and real estate. He leads NSW and ACT instructions spanning major property classes and purposes, with particular experience in compulsory acquisition, statutory land values and disputed matters.
He has valued residential, rural, commercial, industrial and specialised property, including major holdings with individual values up to $1.7 billion.

Chris has prepared valuations for compulsory acquisition, balance sheet reporting, family law, capital gains tax, land tax, market rent review and mortgage purposes. Before joining Sovereign he worked within the Valuer General NSW function and as a valuer at National Australia Bank.

He has managed more than 1,000 compulsory acquisition compensation matters, including specialised matters such as Native Title cultural loss determinations. He also led the objections team within Value NSW.
